Becca Holloway | DIRECTOR — Becca (she/her) is a Chicago-based director, casting director and producer. A huge supporter of new work, she is the curator of the monthly Readings at Red series to help support and develop new plays written by Chicago local playwrights. Hanna Kime | PLAYWRIGHT — Hanna (she/her) is a Chicago-based playwright and screenwriter originally from St. Louis, Missouri. Her full-length work has been presented or developed with Goodman Theatre, Berkeley Rep, St. Louis Shakespeare Festival, Steep Theatre, Jackalope Theatre, the New Coordinates, UP Theatre, Broken Nose Theatre, Sideshow Theatre, where she was an ensemble member, and First Floor Theater, where she previously served as Literary Manager. Most recently, her script THE BEST DAMN THING served as the first fully produced play at The Understudy: Coffee and Books. Kime is a two-time O’Neill Finalist, was the winner of OKC Rep’s New Voices Contest, and has been named a semifinalist for the Bay Area Playwrights Festival, Ashland New Play Festival, and Premiere Stages Play Festival. She holds degrees from the University of Chicago in English and Gender and Sexuality Studies. Outside of her own writing, Kime works as a freelance dramaturg and teaching artist. She is represented by UTA.

 

Ella Johnson | STAGE MANAGER — Ella (she/they) is very excited to be combining two of their favorite things with this production, hot dogs and theatre. Their most recent credits include Stage Manager for Problem Play, Stage/Staging Manager for StarQuest Dance Competition & Production Stage Manager for Chicago the Musical National Tour (US & South Korea). Ella is incredibly thankful to be able to collaborate with such amazing arts. Thank you to the cast, Becca, Katy, designers, production, friends, family, and Andi for all their work, love, and support during this production.

Katy Campbell | ASSISTANT DIRECTOR — Katy (she/her) is excited to work with Red Theater again, this time on the other side of the table. As an actor, she’s done shows with Factory Theater (where she’s an Artistic Associate), Blank Theatre, The Plagiarists, Underscore, Hell in a Handbag, and others. When she’s not working /on/ theatre, she’s working /in/ theatre as the marketing director for Refracted Theatre Company. She’d like to thank Becca for this incredible opportunity to work alongside her, her friends & family, and, as always, AP. She is represented by Shirley Hamilton Talent.

 

Hunter Cole | SCENIC DESIGN — Hunter (they/them) is a freelance scenic designer living in Pilsen. Credits include—INHERITANCE (The Factory Theater), THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW (Two Cent Lion), THE MAD ONES (Blank Theatre), I LOVE YOU, YOU’RE PERFECT, NOW CHANGE (Oil Lamp Theater), SILENT SKY (ECC), and THE LEGEND OF SLEEPY HOLLOW (Three Brothers Theatre). They couldn’t do this without the support of their fiancé, Paige Baumann. Love to Justin and Makayla.

Madeline Felauer | COSTUME DESIGN — Madeline (she/her) is honored to once again to costume a Red Theater show! Felauer is a graduate of The School of the Art Institute of Chicago where she received a BFA in Fashion Design. Her credits included Costume Crafts for LORD OF THE RINGS (Chicago Shakes), RICHARD III (CST), HENRY V (CST), FROG AND TOAD (CCT), MILO IMAGINES THE WORLD (CCT) and Costume Design for MURDER REWROTE (HIAHB), WOLVES (Redtwist), HAMLET (Red Theater), BOTTLE FLY (Redtwist), etc. Much love to all friends and family who never blink when she shares a new wild idea.

 

Jack Goodman | LIGHTING DESIGN — Jack (he/him) is a Chicago based Lighting Designer. Sebby Woldt | SOUND DESIGN – Sebby (they/them) is very excited to be working with Red Theater again after working on INDOOR CATS, VINEGAR TOM, CAVEMAN PLAY, AND HAMLET. Sebby has designed sound for over one hundred productions in the Chicagoland area since graduating from the Theatre School at DePaul and has been nominated for several Broadway world awards and a Jeff Award for INDOOR CATS. Recent credits include: RICHARD III With Promethean, LANE CALL at The Factory Theater, and VIVA LA MORT with The Conspirators. Sebby is also the resident sound designer of the Bristol Renaissance Faire. You can find their original music and covers under the artist name The Eternal Dreamers.

 

Jamie Macpherson | FIGHT / INTIMACY DESIGN — Jamie (she/her) is a Chicago intimacy/fight director. She has been an invited artist at Macalester College, Augsburg College, the Lawrence Art Center, and the University of Chicago. At Red Theater: VINEGAR TOM, INDOOR CATS, HAMLET. Other recent credits: BOOKWORMS (Kerfuffle Theater for the Very Young); THE MAD ONES (Blank Theater) and TREASURE ISLAND (Mudlark Theater). Her work has been published in Youth Theater Journal, Howlround, and The Fight Master. Chas Mathieu | PROPS DESIGN — Chas (he/him) is delighted to be working with Red Theater. Recently, he’s had the pleasure of working with Steep Theatre Company, Rivendell Theatre Ensemble, and Vision Latino Theatre Company. Some personal favorite design credits include: THE PAVILION (Artistic Home) and YOU ARE CORDIALLY INVITED TO SIT-IN (Stages - Houston). Chas has also spent the last four seasons with Chicago Children’s Theatre as their scenic supervisor. In his free time, he enjoys exploring the city and painting architectural watercolor portraits.
