Ask Dangerous Questions

Struggling under the economic and physical distress of Crohn’s disease, I needed to make a theater for everyone- those facing economic barriers, d/Deaf, disabled, and first-time theatergoers.

ISLA AZÚCAR (workshop)  (Jan. 7 - Jan. 20): From the mind of Alejandro Tey (Jeff Nominated, Chad Deity) comes an immersive theater-game hybrid that places audiences in the shoes of an immigrant during Castro’s Cuban Revolution. Choices must be made as dramatic scenes play out, inciting a cascade of consequences that affect not only the plot, but your fellow theater-goers. What or who will you be willing to out or abandon to stay alive?
